Shooting in Lefkoşa: Güpe Gündüz gallery comes under fire, injuries reported
In Lefkoşa in Northern Cyprus, at around 10:00 today, an unknown person opened fire at a car dealership in the Küçükkaymaklı area, injuring two people, the police press office reported.
As a result of the shooting, several people were injured — information about the wounded has been confirmed and their identities established. Police and emergency services promptly arrived at the scene, and the area was cordoned off.
Law enforcement officers are collecting evidence and reviewing surveillance camera footage. The motives for the attack and the identity of the shooter(s) are being established. Official details are expected.
