Tobacco Industry Generated 113 Million Lira Revenue for TRNC
The 48th Ordinary General Assembly of the Cyprus Turkish Tobacco Industry took place in Northern Cyprus, revealing that the industry's tax contributions in 2023 neared 113 million Turkish Lira.
During the General Assembly, the 2023 results were discussed. Presentations were given by Ragıp Bingöl, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Tobacco Industry Limited, and İnal Yagan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sümer Holding.
In his speech, Ragıp Bingöl expressed his hope that the meeting would be beneficial for the Turkish Republic, the TRNC, and the company's partners and employees.
At the end of his speech, the head of Turkish Tobacco proposed that İnal Yagan take over as Chairman of the Board. The proposal was accepted unanimously.
In his address, İnal Yagan noted that the company experienced growth last year due to significant investments.
The tax and revenue contributions made by the company to the TRNC in 2023 are approaching 113 million TL.
