TCG Anadolu to Lead Parade of 50 Ships in the TRNC
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation, a parade featuring 50 ships will take place in the TRNC, led by the Turkish multipurpose amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu.
The arrival of the military vessel in Northern Cyprus was announced by Turkey's Ministry of National Defense. Currently, TCG Anadolu is conducting exercises in the Mediterranean.
According to the ministry's statement, TCG Anadolu will visit a port in the TRNC and lead a parade at sea featuring 50 ships. Additionally, there will be a show by the Turkish Stars aerobatic team and combat aircraft.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation, official ceremonies, memorial marches, and visits to martyr sites will also be held.
It was previously reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will attend the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation on July 20 in the TRNC.
