Temperature to Rise 3-5°C Above Normal: Weather in the TRNC on July 29

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Monday, July 29, the region will be affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict clear weather with no precipitation.

Air temperatures will rise 3-5°C above the seasonal norm. The hottest weather today is expected in Lefke and Güzelyurt, reaching up to 41-42°C, and on the northern coast, temperatures will range from 36-40°C.

Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, with occasional strong gusts. No storms are expected today. Two meteorological warnings are still in effect in Northern Cyprus, indicating a very high risk of wildfires.

The level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.

Avoid staying in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
