Air temperature will rise to 32°C: weather in Northern Cyprus on April 18th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Thursday, April 18th, the region continues to be affected by low pressure and warm moist air. There are three weather warnings in the region.

Meteorologists promise clear but cloudy weather, without precipitation. The air temperature is expected to be 6-8 degrees above seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, the thermometer will rise to 32°C.

The wind is northwesterly, of moderate strength. Storms are not expected in the region today.

In Northern Cyprus, there is an average level of ultraviolet radiation and a high probability of forest fires. Additionally, the region is covered in dust brought from the Middle East.

It will linger in the atmosphere until this evening. People with normal skin can be in the sun for about 20 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

North Coast: Kyrenia – 24°C, Lapta – 22°C, Akdeniz - 30°C, Alekaya - 28°C, Esentepe - 26°C.

West Coast: Lefke – 27°C, Güzelyurt – 33°C.

Central part: Nicosia – 31°C, Ercan – 32°C.

East Coast: Famagusta – 26°C, Iskele – 28°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 27°C.
