Temperatures to Soar to 38°C: Weather Forecast for Northern Cyprus on May 26
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, warm and humid air combined with low atmospheric pressure will dominate the weather in Northern Cyprus on Monday, May 26.
Forecasters are expecting cloudy skies with no rainfall. Temperatures will rise 6–8°C above the seasonal average, reaching between 29°C and 38°C across most parts of the country. No storms are expected.
Winds will blow from the southwest, generally moderate but occasionally strong. Three weather warnings are currently in effect across Northern Cyprus. There is a high risk of wildfires due to the dry conditions. UV levels are also high, and people are advised not to stay in direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes. In addition, African dust remains present in the atmosphere, which may affect air quality.
