Air temperature to reach 40°C: Weather forecast for TRNC on June 24th

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Monday, June 24, the region will continue to be affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists are forecasting clear to partly cloudy weather with no precipitation.

Today's air temperature will rise 4-6°C above normal, with a maximum reaching 40°C. The hottest weather is expected in Nicosia. The wind will be southwesterly and of moderate strength. No storms are expected today.

Two meteorological warnings are in effect in Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains very high. The level of ultraviolet radiation is also high.

Avoid staying in the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking the necessary precautions.
