Air Temperature to Rise to 45°C: Weather in Northern Cyprus for June 14
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Friday, June 14, the region continues to be affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict clear, very hot, dusty, and slightly cloudy weather with no precipitation.
The air temperature will rise 8-10°C above the seasonal norm, with the maximum temperature reaching up to 45°C. The highest temperatures are expected in Nicosia.
The wind will be northwesterly and moderate in strength. No storms are expected today.
There are currently four meteorological warnings in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of natural fires remains very high, and the level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.
It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
Additionally, for the next few days, the region will continue to experience abnormal heat with temperatures up to 46°C and dust in the air brought from North Africa.

- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 36°C, Iskele – 38°C
