Rising Temperatures in the TRNC: Weather Forecast for May 21
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, warm and humid air under low atmospheric pressure is expected to affect Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, May 21. The forecast calls for mostly clear skies with little to no cloud cover and no chance of rain.
Temperatures are expected to rise 2–3°C above the seasonal average, reaching between 27°C and 33°C across most of the country. No storms are expected.
Winds will blow from the southwest at moderate strength.
Two weather alerts are currently in effect across Northern Cyprus: a high risk of wildfires and elevated UV radiation levels. Authorities are advising people to avoid direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes.
