Air Temperatures Normalize: Weather in the TRNC for August 14th
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, low pressure and hot, humid air continue to influence the region on Wednesday, August 14th. Northern Cyprus is expected to experience clear to partly cloudy skies, with no precipitation.
Air temperatures have returned to seasonal norms. The highest temperatures today are expected in Nicosia, Ercan, and Geçitkale, reaching up to 39°C, while the northern coast will see temperatures ranging from 35°C to 37°C. Winds will be moderate, coming from the southwest, and no storms are expected today.
Two weather warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus, including a very high risk of wildfires.
The ultraviolet radiation level is also very high.
Residents are advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking appropriate precautions.
