TRNC to Receive Record Number of Ambulances
North Cyprus will soon receive 13 new ambulances, an unprecedented number even during the pandemic.
This announcement was made by TRNC Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek during a broadcast on BRT television.
According to the Minister of Health, two new ambulances have already been handed over to the health services. Another five are on the way, with payment already completed.
"There are five more ambulances for which the funds are currently blocked. There is also a grant from civil society. We have ensured that 13 new ambulances will be delivered to the country, and we have not deviated from this target. This is the first time in the history of the TRNC that such a number of ambulances has been delivered. Even during the pandemic, we did not receive this many," said the minister.
