Northern Cyprus Tourism Potential Presented at Exhibition in Dubai
The tourism potential of Northern Cyprus was presented at the prestigious Arabian Travel Market exhibition, which kicked off yesterday in Dubai.
At the largest Arab tourism forum, the TRNC was represented by the Department of Tourism Promotion and Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, Fikri Ataoglu, stated that the Arabian Travel Market tourism fair held in Dubai is a great opportunity to promote Northern Cyprus' tourism potential on the international stage and establish new business connections.
"This year, we are conducting a promotional campaign at our 70m2 stand to connect our tourism professionals with the Arab market, to develop tourism in our country. Tourism in our country is growing every day. This year, we aim to exceed the pre-pandemic pace," the minister said.
In addition to promotional brochures, Northern Cyprus' stand featured dishes from the national cuisine and coffee.
The Northern Cyprus stand at the Arabian Travel Market was visited by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Dubai, Onur Şaylan, and the representative of the TRNC in Abu Dhabi, Umut Koldaş.
Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is the largest B2B exhibition in the Middle East for domestic and outbound tourism. Leading experts from around the world gather at the Dubai World Trade Centre to showcase thousands of tourism market products to visitors. The main goal of the event is to create and strengthen business relationships between entrepreneurs. In previous years, the total value of contracts signed during the exhibition exceeded 91 billion dirhams.
