Students of primary schools in the TRNC have begun their summer vacation
On June 14, report cards and certificates were distributed in primary schools across the TRNC. As of today, 26,577 students from 125 schools under the Department of Primary Education have started their summer break.
In secondary schools, report cards were handed out on Tuesday. Following this, 25,079 students from middle and high school classes across 48 schools managed by the General Secondary Education Office, along with 3,894 students from 12 schools in the Vocational-Technical Education Office and approximately 400 students from Centers for Adult Education and Training, have also begun their summer holidays.
Entrance exams are scheduled from June 12 to June 21. Applications for enrollment in programs at vocational high schools by students who have completed the 8th grade will be accepted from June 20 to June 25. Announcements regarding enrollment in the 9th grade of vocational high schools will be made on Friday, June 26.
The academic year 2024-2025 for schools under the Department of Primary Education will commence on Monday, September 16, while for schools under the General Secondary Education Department and the Vocational-Technical Education Department, it will begin on September 17.
