Exhibition of Sports Competition Photographs Opens at Ercan Airport
An exhibition of sports competition photographs has opened at Ercan Airport. The display includes some works by members of the Turkish Cypriot Sports Writers Association.
According to the Association, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the T&T Airport Management company in the departure area of the air harbor. The gallery features around 100 photographs taken by 19 sports observers at various sports events.
“Sports photography is a distinct form of art that requires special talent and effort. Therefore, each photograph in the exhibition is unique and holds special significance for us. The photographs showcased at the exhibition take visitors on a historical journey,” stated Serhat Ozcelik, the General Manager of Airport Operations at T&T.
It is also noted that the exhibition of sports photographs is part of the airport's social responsibility projects, held at the air harbor on a monthly basis.
