Alayköy Completes Lighting Works on Lefkoşa–Güzelyurt Roundabout
The Mayor of the Göneli–Alayköy Municipality, Hüseyin Amcaoğlu, announced the completion of lighting installation works at the Alayköy roundabout, located on the Lefkoşa–Güzelyurt highway.
According to him, the project was implemented to improve road traffic safety and visibility during evening and nighttime hours. The roundabout is considered one of the region’s key transport points, with a heavy daily flow of vehicles.
The mayor noted that the lighting will help reduce the risk of road traffic accidents, especially in low-visibility conditions, and will provide more comfortable travel for drivers.
The municipality emphasized that the works were carried out as part of a program to modernize road infrastructure and enhance safety standards in the Göneli–Alayköy area.
