Power outage in Arapkoy tomorrow due to technical works
The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority KIB-TEK announced planned maintenance, during which residents of Arapkoy village will face a temporary power cut.
According to the company’s statement, electricity supply will be suspended on Tuesday, August 19, for three hours — from 10:00 to 13:00. The restriction will affect the entire area of the settlement without exception.
KIB-TEK clarified that the outage is related to design and technical works aimed at improving and modernizing the power grid. Such measures, according to experts, are necessary to enhance the reliability of electricity supply and prevent possible emergencies in the future.
Residents of Arapkoy are advised to prepare in advance for the temporary absence of electricity: charge necessary devices, minimize the use of household appliances, and adjust plans that depend on electricity if needed.
The energy company also reminded that in case of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, the schedule of works may change, and citizens will be informed accordingly.
