Substandard Milk Seized from Producer in Aslanköy
SÜTEK, an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, reported an inspection of milk produced at a farm in the Aslanköy area on February 27.
Laboratory analysis determined that the milk did not meet the necessary requirements for use in dairy production. The farm owner was officially notified of the results.
SÜTEK emphasized that, in accordance with current legislation, milk that fails to meet established criteria cannot be purchased or processed. Following the notification, the producer disposed of the product by pouring it away.
The agency added that the procurement and sale of milk continues as normal for products that comply with all standards.
