Donor initiatives for children launched at Cengiz Topel Hospital in Northern Cyprus after the appointment of deputy chief physicians
At Cengiz Topel Hospital in Northern Cyprus, following the appointment of two deputy chief physicians last week, organizational and social changes began, reports Gündem Kıbrıs. The new deputy chief physicians are Dr. Nurçin İncirli and Dr. Hüseyin Enginsoy; their appointments date back to the last week of August 2025.
According to the publication, the doctors quickly organized fundraising and charitable contributions to address the lack of equipment. As a result of the donor initiatives, the hospital received a water dispenser and a cabinet for the children's polyclinic. In addition, collections of stationery were announced for hospitalized children and low-income families.
On the eve of the new school year, the administration activated the "Cap Project" (Kapak Projesi) to help children who cannot afford school uniforms. It is noted that the hospital has strengthened its information work on social media and is conducting internal staff training.
For the residents of Northern Cyprus, this means improved conditions in the children's polyclinic and the opportunity to support the initiatives through the hospital’s social media pages or donations; official contacts and details of the collections, according to the publication, are published on the hospital’s page.
