In Çatalköy, a drunk visitor slapped a female police officer
The incident occurred on October 11, 2025, at around 00:05 at an entertainment venue in Çatalköy, Northern Cyprus. A visitor, R.Ç. (26), under the influence of alcohol, slapped a female police officer who had arrived at the scene in response to a call.
According to reports, R.Ç. was behaving aggressively, shouting loudly without reason, and disturbing others. When the police officer attempted to intervene, the suspect struck her, obstructing the performance of her official duties.
