Turkish Warships to Arrive in Northern Cyprus on Victory Day
On Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day, visitors to Northern Cyprus will have the chance to tour Turkish warships. The Turkish Navy ships, TCG Bozcaada (F-500) and TCG Tarsus (P-1204), will be making port visits to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
According to a statement from the Security Forces Command, the patrol ship TCG Bozcaada will be open to the public at Famagusta Port from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday.
The patrol ship TCG Tarsus will be available for visits during the same hours at the Kyrenia Tourist Port. The details regarding access to the ships have not been specified.
Victory Day is an official national holiday in both the Republic of Turkey and the TRNC. In Northern Cyprus, celebratory events will be held in all districts.
