In Iskele, a man was arrested for stealing electricity from his neighbors.
In Iskele, a 42-year-old man identified by the initials V.S.G. was detained on suspicion of illegally connecting to the electricity supply of a neighboring residence. According to police reports, the accused, who lived in one of the apartments in a multi-unit building, decided to use his neighbor's electricity, citing the absence of power in his own apartment as the reason.
The incident occurred between August 17 and 18, 2025. The authorities received a report about the case, which led to a thorough investigation. As a result of the inquiry, it was determined that V.S.G. had directly connected to the neighbor's electricity meter without permission, thereby supplying power to himself.
