Man threatens people with a gun following a dispute in Famagusta
An incident involving a weapon occurred near a hotel in Famagusta.
According to police, two men, accompanied by their uncle, arrived at the scene of a conflict with two individuals they had previously quarreled with. During the incident, the uncle pulled out a pistol and, while threatening them, stated he could open fire.
A police officer noticed the occurrence. Approximately 20 minutes later, the suspects were detained at the entrance to the village of Tuzla. The weapon was later discovered in the home of one of the participants.
All three have been detained and brought to court. They have been remanded in custody for six days pending further investigation.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
