In Famagusta, a fisherman was fined for poaching
Famagusta authorities imposed an administrative fine on a man who was fishing without a permit. A fisherman was caught illegally fishing on the coast of Silver Beach.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred on the morning of December 3, around 08:00. The 49-year-old man was caught red-handed by coastguard crews while he was fishing with a net without permission from the competent authority.
An administrative fine was imposed on this person.
