Famagusta Fortress City Fair Begins

The Famagusta Fortress City Fair kicks off on August 30 and will run until September 8. This annual event, organized by the municipality, will take place on Kanbulat Street.

The fair opens today at 8:00 PM with a performance by the Famagusta Municipal Folk Dance Ensemble, followed by a fire and dance show. At 9:00 PM, the opening concert will feature Ahmet Evan.

All other concerts at the Famagusta City Fair will start at 8:30 PM.

Throughout the fair, popular local artists will perform each evening, including Grup Frekans, Retro Instrumentalists, Cihan Tunceli Band, Sidara Karakush, Burcu Arıkaya, Grup Otantik, and Grup Buğday.

All concerts at the Famagusta Fortress City Fair are free of charge.

Proceeds from the fair’s stalls will be donated to the Angel Champions Survival Association.
