An Illegal Bakery Production Facility Closed in Famagusta

The Municipality of Famagusta announced the discovery of an illegal bakery production facility that had been operating without the required permits and licenses.
During the inspection, it was established that production was carried out with serious violations of sanitary standards. The premises did not meet hygiene requirements, storage conditions contradicted current legislation, and expired products were found among the goods.
All products were seized and confiscated. The owner of the business was issued an administrative fine equal to one gross minimum wage, and legal proceedings have also been initiated.
Harun Oza, Head of the Municipal Control Unit, emphasized that activities endangering public health will not be tolerated. According to him, all incoming complaints are thoroughly examined, and inspections throughout the city will continue on a regular basis.
