In Famagusta, street paving begins in the Kaliland area
Today in Famagusta, road resurfacing works are starting in the Kaliland area. According to the Famagusta Municipality, the paving is part of the second phase of road works carried out by the city services.
The works will take place within the Çanakkale Mahallesi district. New asphalt is planned to be laid on the following streets:
Akçahoca, Hint, Kuğulu, Samanyolu, Süvariler, Akçaabat, Akçadağ, Akhisar, and Hazar Sokak.
The municipality noted that the work schedule may be adjusted depending on weather conditions. Temporary changes to traffic organization will be introduced during the paving period.
Drivers are advised to:
- pay attention to road signs,
- use alternative routes if possible,
- exercise increased caution when passing through the work area.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience and asks residents for their understanding.
