Two women detained in Gönyeli and Famagusta for disorderly conduct while intoxicated
In Northern Cyprus, in Gönyeli and Famagusta, on November 26, two women were detained for disturbing public order while under the influence of alcohol.
According to Kıbrıs Postası, the 42-year-old and the 20-year-old were shouting loudly and thereby disturbing others without a valid reason. The fact of disorderly conduct was established on the spot.
Both were detained; the investigation is ongoing.
The case confirms that causing disturbance to others by loud shouting while intoxicated results in detention.
