The “Silent Cries” exhibition on violence and peace will open in Girne

The Municipality of Girne invites residents and guests of the city to the open painting and sculpture exhibition “Sessiz Çığlıklar” (“Silent Cries”), dedicated to the theme of violence and peace. The opening will take place on 9 December at 17:00 in the new building of the Girne Municipality.
The exhibition’s slogan is “There is no excuse for violence,” and its central theme is “Peace.” The project curator is Eda Aner.
The exhibition will feature works by the following artists: Zerrin Çiğdemli Aner, Cahide Topaloğlu, İpek Altun, Sıdıka Füsun Tolunay, Sevin Akyış, Gülser Panço, İpek Denizli, Tülay Güzeldere, and Fevziye Özmen.
The exhibition can be visited from 9 to 13 December on weekdays, during municipal working hours, in the New Service Building of Girne Municipality.
