A kitten stuck on a tree rescued in Girne
A municipal team in Girne carried out a successful rescue operation to save a kitten that had become stuck on a high tree branch. The incident occurred in a residential neighborhood where the animal was unable to climb down on its own.
Municipal workers received a call from concerned residents who reported hearing a kitten meowing from a tree above the street and unable to get down. The rescue team quickly arrived at the scene and used ladders and soft padding beneath the tree to ensure a safe descent for the animal.
According to team members, the kitten did not appear to be injured and was in good condition after being rescued. It was taken to a local animal shelter or temporary care service for examination and preventive treatment.
Residents of the area expressed their gratitude to the municipal services for their quick response and professionalism. Such incidents often make local news as they tend to have happy endings thanks to the animal rescue services.
