Female pedestrian injured in a traffic accident in Kyrenia
A woman was injured as a result of a road traffic accident in Kyrenia.
According to the police press service, yesterday at around 12:30, 67-year-old Ural Sevem was driving a vehicle with registration number PJ 153 along Şehit H. Mustafa Sokak when he hit 53-year-old Leyla Erkasım, who was crossing the road.
As a result of the accident, the victim sustained a fracture of her right leg. The woman was taken to Dr. Akçiçek Hospital, where she was admitted to the surgical department and remains under medical supervision.
The police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
