In Güzelyurt, citrus farmers lit a “fire of protest”
A protest action by citrus producers has begun in Güzelyurt — farmers lit the so-called “fire of protest,” expressing dissatisfaction with the situation in the sector. Participants say they are facing serious problems with product sales, rising costs, and a lack of sufficient support, leaving many farms on the brink of survival.
According to the organizers, the protest is open-ended, and their demands will continue to be voiced until the authorities take real steps to resolve the accumulated problems in agriculture.
