Two people found staying illegally in Iskele and Girne
Joint checks on the migration status of foreigners were carried out in the Iskele and Girne districts.
According to the TRNC Ministry of Interior, the raids were conducted under the coordination of the Migration Management Center with the participation of district administration staff and police.
During the checks, carried out in conjunction with the traffic police, vehicles were stopped and the documents of foreign nationals were verified. As a result, two individuals were found to be staying in the country illegally, and legal procedures have been initiated against them.
The ministry emphasized that such checks will continue throughout the country on a regular basis.
