In Iskele, aerial spraying has begun to combat pests
The Iskele Municipality is conducting aerial spraying of non-residential premises as part of pest control measures.
According to the municipality's statement, intensive efforts have been underway in the city since March 18 to combat mosquito breeding sites and larvae of domestic flies. The first stage involved spraying water bodies, followed by spraying in sewer manholes outside households in the second stage to prevent the appearance of pests such as cockroaches.
It is also reported that since May 2, municipality teams have begun aerial spraying from aircraft to combat domestic flies and mosquitoes. This work covers Iskele directly, as well as 21 other villages.
In some cases, the spraying team is accompanied by the Department of Environment and Health.
