IN ISKELE, THE FOUNDATION OF A NEW SCHOOL HAS BEEN LAID.
A solemn ceremony for the laying of the foundation of the Muharrem Döveç Middle School took place in Iskele. The educational institution will be built within the framework of a protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Döveç Group under the project "Build a School."
The school will be located on a plot of about 43 thousand square meters and will have a closed area of 7,500 square meters.
The new educational institution will consist of 24 classrooms, two computer laboratories, two science laboratories, two technological design classrooms, a music room, a sports hall, a library, administrative offices, a teachers' room, a cafeteria, and a conference hall.
In addition, the school, designed for 700 students, will have a running track, a walking path, a green area of 10 thousand square meters, and basketball, volleyball, tennis, and football courts.
The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by the Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre, Prime Minister Yunal Üstel, as well as other ministers and members of parliament.
