A restaurant caught fire in Kalkanlı: the blaze started in the kitchen due to the grill exhaust
In Kalkanlı, a fire broke out in one of the restaurants. According to information published in local reports, the fire started in the kitchen area: accumulated grease ignited inside the grill flue/exhaust.
The incident occurred on December 26, 2025, at around 13:30. Firefighters arrived at the scene and promptly extinguished the fire, after which they continued cooling operations. As a result of the fire, material damage was recorded.
