Solving the Parking Problem in Kyrenia
Work has begun in Kyrenia to address the issue of insufficient parking spaces in the city center and the Caravan-Saray regions. This was announced by the mayor of the municipality, Murat Şenkul, on his social media page.
The mayor of Kyrenia stated that two projects will be funded through shareholder capital, while two others will be financed through public-private partnerships.
Earlier, the mayor had mentioned the development of a multi-story parking project in the city center.
"We have now begun work on three multi-story parking facilities with a total capacity of more than 1,200 vehicles in the areas of the New Port, Open Market, and Caravan-Saray, as well as the establishment of a surface parking lot for approximately 110 vehicles at the Kyrenia bazaar," the mayor wrote.
