Driver in Kyrenia to Pay 7,000 Lira for Two Dogs Hit
In Kyrenia, an inattentive driver struck two dogs on the road. He will pay a fine and cover the animals' treatment expenses.
The unfortunate incident occurred yesterday afternoon. The driver, who hit the dogs while driving, claimed he did not see the animals darting under his wheels.
However, the incident sparked a strong reaction on social media. One of the dogs hit sustained serious injuries.
The Kyrenia Police Department imposed a fine of 7,000 Turkish Lira on the driver. Additionally, the man covered the expenses for the injured stray dog's treatment.
