A PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC LIGHT ON RAUFA DENKTASH SQUARE HAS BEEN OPEN IN KYRENIA
As part of the road project, traffic lights for pedestrians have been put into operation at Rauf Raif Denktash Square in Kyrenia. The smart signaling project is based on technology that allows drivers and pedestrians to participate in traffic more efficiently.
According to the municipality, pedestrian traffic lights have been activated as part of the project to ensure that pedestrians can cross the road safely.
In addition to installing pedestrian lights, the paving stones located at the junction were also painted black and white. This coloring helps drivers and pedestrians more easily distinguish road junctions.
This event, carried out by employees of the Kyrenia Municipality, became part of the implementation of a global project to improve the city’s infrastructure
