In Nicosia, the 4th Children’s Rights Festival will take place on November 22
On Saturday, November 22, starting at 14:00, the fourth Children’s Rights Festival will take place in Kızıbaş Park in Lefkoşa. The event is organized by the SOS Children’s Village Association and the Lefkoşa Municipality with the participation of the Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD).
The announced motto is “I deserve it! I demand my rights!”. The aim is to raise public awareness of the rights and responsibilities of children in Northern Cyprus.
The program includes CBA basketball shows, performances by the SOS dance group, the Children’s and Polyphonic Youth Choir of the Lefkoşa Municipal Orchestra, the Cranberries Dance and Gymnastics Center, as well as teams from the TRNC Gymnastics Federation.
Throughout the event, DJ sets by Halil Erhan and the Cyprus DJ Academy, ARUCAD games, HASDER’s “Kites and Markutti” activity, an obstacle course, mini-football, a “Rights and Responsibilities Workshop” by the Preschool Education Association, and traditional children’s games are planned.
The hosts are Hanife Tayareci and Kırıpyk. Admission is free, and participation is open to everyone. The program will conclude at 17:00.
