Book presentation in Lefkoşa: “Letters from Silent Cries”
In Lefkoşa, the book Sessiz Çığlıklardan Mektuplar (“Letters from Silent Cries”) was presented, dedicated to human stories of pain, loss, and inner struggle.
The event brought together members of the cultural community, representatives of social organizations, and readers interested in social and psychological topics. The book compiles letters and texts reflecting the experiences of people whose voices often go unheard — from personal dramas to collective traumas.
Participants emphasized that the purpose of the publication is not only to document pain but also to create a space for dialogue, empathy, and reflection on complex emotions. It was noted that such books help society speak about what is usually left unspoken.
The Lefkoşa presentation is part of a series of meetings aimed at introducing readers to the book in various cities across the island.
