Inspections Intensified in Lefkoşa Ahead of Ramadan

The Lefkoşa Municipality (LTB) announced the intensification of sanitary inspections ahead of Ramadan.
According to the municipality, inspectors from the public health department are conducting additional raids in shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, and food production facilities. Particular attention is being paid to product labeling, expiration dates, packaging condition, and storage conditions.
Four separate inspection teams have been assigned to the checks. Authorities noted that enhanced monitoring will continue throughout the entire month of Ramadan.
Products that do not meet sanitary requirements are being confiscated. Entrepreneurs have also been reminded to renew their operating permits by the end of February.
