Power outage scheduled in Nicosia on Monday
The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) announced a planned power outage in part of Nicosia on September 15, Monday.
According to KIB-TEK, the outage will take place as part of a project to supply electricity to 51 residences. The works will affect the area between Kofalı Street and the Gönyeli football field. Electricity supply will be suspended from 09:00 to 12:00.
The authority’s statement noted that some sections and adjacent areas will be disconnected during the specified hours. Residents and organizations are asked to take the necessary measures regarding the temporary interruption of electricity supply.
Official information was published in a written statement by KIB-TEK. Details about the boundaries of the outage and possible schedule changes will be available through the authority’s official channels.
For residents, this means a planned three-hour suspension of electricity supply and the need to prepare in advance for temporary inconveniences. It is recommended to ensure food preservation and consider possible disruptions in the operation of electrical appliances.
