Driver crashes into shopping center storefront in Lefkoşa
An unusual traffic incident occurred in Lefkoşa when a driver mistakenly drove into a shopping center's display window.
According to police, the accident happened on March 25 at around 13:30 in the parking lot of the Önder shopping center on Bedreddin Demirel Avenue.
The 58-year-old driver, Anıt Ergin, while leaving the parking lot in a vehicle with license plate JL 909, inadvertently shifted into forward gear instead of reverse. As a result, the car went out of control and crashed into the glass storefront of the shop.
The collision resulted in damage to the front of the vehicle and the shopping center's display window.
No injuries were reported in the accident. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
