In a head-on collision of two cars in Northern Cyprus, three people were injured
A serious road accident occurred in Northern Cyprus, resulting in injuries to three individuals. On the Ziyamet-Eşkelye road, two cars collided head-on.
According to the police press service, the accident happened on the evening of December 14th, around 17:50, at the first kilometer of the main Ziyamet-Eşkelye road. The 39-year-old driver was heading towards the village of Kumyalı. While making a right turn, the car veered into the oncoming lane, leading to a head-on collision with the vehicle driven by a 75-year-old man.
Both drivers of the vehicles and a 68-year-old passenger in the second car were injured in the accident.
All three injured individuals were transported to the state hospital in Famagusta, where they are still undergoing treatment. The police investigation into the causes of the accident is ongoing.
