A man's body was found in the sea off the coast of Esentepe
Another lifeless body was found in the sea off the TRNC coast. Police stated that the identity of the deceased has not yet been established.
The man's body was discovered by coast guard crews in the sea approximately 20 miles off the coast of Esentepe.
At the moment, no information about the identity of the deceased or the reasons for his death has been obtained. The investigation continues.
Recall, earlier in February, a lifeless body of a woman was found in the sea between Northern Cyprus and Turkey. Authorities suspect that the deceased may be a drowned refugee from Syria, like the previous 6 victims whose bodies were washed ashore in the TRNC. All six bodies have already been buried.
