New Marash Medical Center to Open in TRNC by Early 2025
A cornerstone ceremony for the new Marash Medical Center was held in Northern Cyprus. The center will be located in the Marash district of Famagusta and is expected to be completed by early 2025.
The ceremony was attended by TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, the Turkish Republic’s Ambassador to Nicosia, Yasin Erkem Serim, TRNC Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek, and other officials.
According to the Health Minister, as with all healthcare projects, cost calculations were done on a project basis with close cooperation from the Republic of Turkey.
The new medical facility will cover approximately 1,000 square meters.
“I am thrilled to see our effective projects coming to life. The tender timeline is set for 8 months, but the contractor has promised to finish earlier. By early 2025, we will have a medical center that we can all be proud of,” said the Minister.
