Nicosia and Güzelyurt to Reach 41°C: TRNC Weather Forecast for August 13
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Tuesday, August 13, the region will continue to experience low pressure and hot, humid air. Northern Cyprus will see clear to partly cloudy skies with no expected precipitation.
Temperatures are expected to rise 3-4°C above the seasonal average. The hottest areas today will be Nicosia and Güzelyurt, where temperatures may reach up to 41°C, while the northern coast will experience temperatures between 36-39°C.
Winds will be of moderate strength, blowing from the southwest. No storms are expected today.
Two weather warnings remain in effect across Northern Cyprus, with a very high risk of wildfires continuing throughout the country.
The ultraviolet (UV) radiation levels are also very high. It is advised not to stay in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
