Address Data Updated in Nicosia for New Household Survey
The TRNC Statistical Institute has announced the ongoing update of address data in the Nicosia (Lefkoşa) district as part of preparations for the 2026–2027 household survey.
The work is being carried out within the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) boundaries. The goal is to update address information and prepare a database for the accurate conduct of family budget research.
Currently, interviewers and supervisors are working in the field, verifying and updating address-related information.
The statistical department emphasized that all data provided by citizens will be used strictly for statistical purposes. According to legislation, the information remains confidential and cannot be shared with third parties.
It is noted that field staff carry official identification cards with a seal and a QR code. Residents can scan the code with their phones to verify if the person is an official interviewer.
