Nicosia to Host Science Festival
In Nicosia, at the beginning of next week, a Science Festival will take place featuring educational and sporting activities.
The festival is organized by Science Nicosia with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Nicosia, the Ministry of National Education, and the ITU campus in Northern Cyprus. Through this festival, the organizers aim to instill a love for science in children aged 6 to 14.
The festival will run on Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at "Kahramanzade Mahallesi Şht. Salih Şevket Sokak No:22/4, Nicosia."
Over the two-day event, which aims to enhance the younger generation's interest in science and technology, there will be scientific exhibitions and experiments, aviation and space workshops, robotics masterclasses, seminars on natural sciences, entrepreneurship, technological design, and agriculture.
Additionally, scientific booths from universities across the country will be showcased. Artistic and sporting activities are also planned.
