On the last day of winter in Northern Cyprus, clear and sunny weather has set in

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Thursday, February 29th, the region continues to be under the influence of high pressure and cool, humid air.

Meteorologists promise clear and sunny, but slightly cloudy weather without precipitation. The air temperature remains 2-3°C above the seasonal climatic norm: the air will warm up to a maximum of 21 degrees. The wind is north-east, of moderate strength.

There are no active warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

Northern coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 19°C, Akdeniz - 21°C, Alevkaya - 19°C, Esentepe - 19°C.

Western coast: Lefke – 21°C, Güzelyurt – 21°C.

Central part: Nicosia – 21°C, Ercan – 21°C.

Eastern coast: Famagusta – 21°C, Iskele – 21°C.

Karpas: Yenerenköy – 21°C.
